Beside from shopping and sightseeing Bangkok is famous for its go-go bars once the lights of the night are switched on. The most poplar gogo bars in Bangkok can be found in the most famous red light districts of the city: Patpong, Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM GO GO BARS IN BANGKOK?
Comparable to strip clubs Bangkok go-go Bars are more sexier versions of the normal bars. There will be tons of beautiful ladies dancing and enjoying themselves around you as you sip your beer or cocktail. Go-go bars in Bangkok usually open around 8.00 PM and won’t close before 2.00 AM, many stay open even longer. Not only the Hangover movies made this small street famous – it’s a nightlife institution since many years. Most people who visit Soi Cowboy for their first time will be surprised that Soi Cowboy is just a 160-metre short road. It features dozent of gogo bars on the left and right as well as a few beer bars, 2 or 3 restaurants as well as a massage shop. It’s conveniently located in the middle of Sukhumvit Soi 23 and Asoke and can be easily reached by BTS (Skytrain) at Asoke stations as well as with taxis and motorbike taxis.
1. BACCARA
Definitely one of the best and most popular gogo bars in Soi Cowboy 2021. If you are searching for a bar with tons of ladies and pure fun then Baccara is your party place to be! Baccara can be easily found at the end of Soi Cowboy street (where Soi 23 begins). Directly next to Baccara Bangkok’s famous Shark agogo bar can be found. It offers a similar design sameas Baccara. Thanks to the slightly raised dancefloor great views of all dancers are assured no matter where you are sitting. The DJ plays great tunes through all genres – from Dance to Techno, Pop and Rock as well as Thai songs what makes the girls go wild. They also offer a great happy hours with drink specials if you come before 8:00 PM.

3. CRAZY HOUSE
One of the newest gogo bars in Bangkok, Crazy House is not directly in Soi Cowboy but right at the corner at Soi 23. This bar is famous by expats and tourists and can get very busy – so if you want to see the best girls assure you don’t come to late to avoid that they are being barfined already. Crazy House features 100+ girls per night and definitely has some real “stunners” available. If you ask yourself “What is a stunner?” – it’s a synonym for a really great looking lady with topmodel potential. Crazy Hourse has 3 floors and even an elevator. Upstairs private shows are offered including oil, hot way and many more utilities. Crazy House is not the cheapest go-go bar in Bangkok 2021 but one of the best and a must visit!

4. TILAC BAR
Tilac bar is the famous bar from the Hangover 2 movie but is going strong since many years already. It’s one of the oldest and most established bars in Soi Cowboy. Its metal and neon design is special and the presence of many mirrors inside the bar will give you great views and insights. What makes Tilac special as well is the stage design. There is not the one big center stage but six to seven smaller stages where the girls rotate. So no matter where you are sitting sooner or later all the ladies will rotate next to your stage what is really cool. Sport lovers will also enjoy several giant TV screens inside the bar as well as the outside terrace where you can enjoy watching Soi Cowboy together with an ice cold beer.

GO-GO BARS IN NANA PLAZA DISTRICT
Nana Plaza was once a shopping mall and became Bangkok’s largest adult playground and red-light district. It’s located at the beginning of Sukhumvit Soi 4 and can be easily accessed by BTS / Skytrain that is stopping at Nana station. Nana Plaza is very popular and loved by expats and tourists. It’s not cheap but it’s great and walking inside a very unique experience.
5. RAINBOW 5
The Rainbow 5 bar can be found at the middle floor of Nana Plaza and was previously known as Rainbow 4 bar and R&B bar. Rainbow 5 is not the biggest bar and usually features 30-40 dancers depending on the weekday. The music is great and the quality of girls very high. Also Japanese and Korean guests do enjoy this bar and like to party and hang out here. Nevertheless it’s not the ultimate party location but a great spot to watch some beautiful ladies and start the night at the Nana Plaza 2021.

6. SPANKY’S
This gogo bar is a very special one. As the name might suggests this go-go bar is having a whip theme. Whips can be found everywhere inside Spanky’s and the ladies like to use them. It’s great fun and won’t hurt since the material is a soft one. This go-go bar is a smaller one compared to other bars in Nana Plaza 2021 but it’s full of energy and party. One of the highlights are their chorepgraphed shows that do run ever 15 to 20 minutes and are really, really hot. When in Bangkok as visit to Spanky’s gogo bar in Nana Plaza is a must. You won’t regret it! Also the beer prices are pretty fair there, cheers!

7. TWISTER BKK
Twister is located on the ground floor of Nana Plaza where previously the go-go bar named “Bangkok Bunnies” was. It’s one of the best and biggest go-go bars in Nana Plaza 2021. It’s full of ladies and energy. Consisting of three decent sized dance floors, a large terrace bar with pool tables makes Twister really special. Only downside is that in the early hours with less guests the empty spaces are limiting the ambience a bit but in the later hours it gets busy. In Twister you will find some of the best looking girls in Nana Plaza! If you are a wine lover they also do serve real white wine and real red wine and not the cheap ones nobody can drink.

8. ANGELWITCH
You love Rock’n’Roll? Even if not: this rock and metal themed bar is a must visit when coming to Nana Plaza Bangkok. They play the most famous and well knowsn Rock songs all night and the girls wear black leather outfits as well as black lingerie. It’s lovely and a real difference compared to other bars. Their choreographed performances are also some of the best you can see in Nana Plaza 2021. They also have a very unique oil massage show you don’t want to miss, promised!

Billboard Nana Plaza is one of the most famous bars. It’s located on the top floor of Nana Plaza and gives you a fantastic view all over Nana Plaza. It features some kind of retro ambience but this makes the bar special. Beside the foam bath and Jacuzzi area there is a carrousel stage that is absolutely unique in the Bangkok bar scene. Sit down at the carrousel stage and watch the girls rotating around you, lay back and relax with the ladies – pure fun! Drink prices are pretty fair and the Billboard girls are really hot. PATPONG GO-GO BARS
Not to be missed: the go-go bars in Patpong district. It’s the oldest red-light zone in Bangkok and well known for its night market selling T-Shirts, souvenirs, snacks and many more goods tourists love. Patpong nightlife area can be reached via BTS station Silom Road or via taxi of course. Be aware there might be some scams going on with people inviting you to small upstair bars where a boring show featuring an old lady awaits you and after 5 minutes you are kindly asked to pay 500 Baht entrance fee or a similar amount for the drink you ordered. The most iconic go-go bars in Patpong are Pink Panther and Bada Bing.
10. BADA BING
Two floors full of fun and sexy girl await you at Bada Bing Bangkok gogo bar. The stage is big, the plush seating very comfortable and they even have VIP rooms with glass ceilings for theirn customers. What makes this gogo bar special are not only the really sexy ladies working there but also their theme nights. There is always a great atmosphere and the mix of ladies and ladyboys is not only unique but great. You will love and when visiting Patpong 2021 you need to have a drink in King’s Corner!

Just a few side notes:
- there are many more go-go bars in Bangkok and there are no bad ones. Every gogo bar is worth a visit but the ones we presented here have been regulary checked also in 2021 and can be highly recommended.
- If there is a place that seems suspicious to you then it’s the best to avoid it. Before ordering drinks check the menu or ask for the price to avoid any bad surprises.
- Also check the bill all the time.
- There is no charge for shows. If a go-go bar tells you that better leave, this most likely is an attempt to scam you.
- And always show respect to the ladies working there. Some might come and sit next to you. If you for whatever reason don’t like that specific lady just be kind and tell her you want to enjoy alone. Don’t be rude, keep smiling and enjoy a great night in Bangkok nightlife 2021!
